I check out the ads early so I can get to any printable coupons before they hit their print limit! You'll also see how these gals truly work the system. I'm not as good as they are, yet....

Dining out on the Cheap!

Go to Restaurant.com and you can get a $25 Gift card for $1. They're running a huge sale and I'm willing to bet these will go fast! If you live in a metro area, you have more choices for restaurants. Most have a minimum purchase requirement, but geez...for $1! I'd pick up as many as you can!

My $1.53 CVS trip

Yep...$1.53! Here's what I got: 1 gallon milk, 2 Healthy Choice Fresh Mixers, 1 bag Tostitos, 2 CVS brand pretzels, 1 Pampers wipes.

CVS Flu Shot Coupons

You may have noticed that CVS is giving a $100 booklet of coupons when you get the flu shot in store. But, did you also notice that the ad states that NO PURCHASE NECESSARY? You should be able to just ask for the booklet. (Get a copy of the ad...)

Free Museum Day

September 26th is Annual Smithsonian Museum Day!

You can get FREE admission to many museums throughout the country.

Change to Wal Mart Coupon Policy!

UPDATE: I heard back and YES! the policy will allow coupons from other stores, but you can only use one coupon per product and if you have more than 40 coupons, you'll have to have your transaction approved by the manager.

Wal-Mart Coupon Policy

Wal-Mart accepts the following types of coupons (see guidelines below):

• Manufacturer coupons (Cents Off)
• Free merchandise (or manufacturer's Buy-One-Get-One-Free) coupons
• Store coupons
• Pharmacy (Advertising and Promotional) coupons
• Internet coupons
• Soft drink container caps

The following are guidelines and limits:

• Wal-Mart only accepts coupons for merchandise we sell and only when presented at the time of purchase.
• Coupons should have an expiration date and be presented within the valid dates. Wal-Mart will not accept expired coupons.
• Internet coupons should be legible and say "Manufacturer Coupon." There should be a valid remit address for the manufacturer and a scannable bar code.
• Only one coupon per item is permitted.
• Use of 40 or more coupons per transaction will require approval by Customer Service Manager.

Did you see it????
They now accept STORE COUPONS! This means coupons from OTHER stores! If you have coupons specifically for another store (Kohl's, Target, CVS, Walgreens, etc.), they will now take them. I'm emailing corporate to make 100% sure, but that's what the wording says!

Weekend News

Since this is a holiday weekend, there are no coupon inserts in the paper. I've been working on matching coupons with CVS and Walgreens and will get that list up as soon as possible. Looks like a slow weekend! Take a break, cook a burger and I'll see you Sunday!
